Exactly what you get.
Nothing ambiguous.

Kernel Host is per-site managed hosting. Here's what's covered from day one — and what's available as an add-on.

01

SSL Installation & Renewal

SSL is installed on setup and renewed automatically. No expiry alerts, no manual steps, no downtime from a forgotten certificate.
02

Weekly Backups

Scheduled weekly backups with verified restore points. Retention periods and daily backup frequency are available as add-ons based on your needs.
03

Optimized Stack Baseline

Your hosting environment is configured for the site running on it — not a generic shared server. PHP version, memory limits, and caching baseline are set correctly from day one.
04

Deploy & Handover Docs

After every deployment we document what's running, what's configured, and how things are connected. Short, usable, not a wall of text.
05

Outage Response — 7/24

If your site goes down, we respond around the clock. Mark your email subject [OUTAGE] and it gets immediate attention.
06

Resource-Stable Environment

Resource limits are set to protect stability — not to throttle your site unfairly. If you're growing and need more headroom, we scope an upgrade, not a panic fix.

What's running
under the hood.

Kernel Host runs on a configured production stack. Every layer is there for a reason — nothing is default-left, nothing is an afterthought.

LiteSpeed Web Server

Drop-in Apache replacement with native caching and significantly lower memory overhead under load.
Core
🐘

PHP (LTS version)

Current long-term support version, configured per-site with appropriate memory and execution limits.
Core
🗄

MySQL / MariaDB

Tuned query cache and connection limits. Not a shared pool — isolated per-site configuration.
Core
🔒

SSL / TLS

Let's Encrypt or custom certificate. Installed, validated, and auto-renewed — never expires silently.
Core
💾

JetBackup

Scheduled backup system with verified restore points. Weekly on Kernel Host; daily available as add-on.

Same team, no handoff
Most hosting problems come from a gap: the developer leaves and the hosting team inherits something they didn't build. On Kernel Host, the team running the server is the same team that configured it. There's no handoff, no knowledge gap, no "that's not our problem."
Need more than hosting?
Kernel Care adds WordPress maintenance — updates, health checks, rollback, and a monthly report. It runs on top of Kernel Host, handled by the same team.

Not all hosting
is the same problem.

Generic shared hosting is a product. Kernel Host is a managed environment — configured for your site, monitored by people who understand what breaks when something is wrong.

Generic Shared Hosting
  • One-size configurationSame PHP limits, same caching policy for every account on the server.
  • SSL is your responsibilityExpires silently unless you remember to renew. Or pay extra for auto-renew.
  • Backups not guaranteedMost providers include backups as a best-effort courtesy — not a verified restore process.
  • Support is a ticket queueWhoever responds has never seen your site before. Diagnostics start from zero every time.
  • No documentationYou inherit an environment with no record of what was changed or why.
vs
Kernel Host
  • Per-site configurationStack settings are tuned for what's running on your account — not a generic baseline applied to hundreds of sites.
  • SSL handled end-to-endInstalled, validated, and auto-renewed. Never expires on your watch.
  • Verified weekly backupsScheduled, tested, documented. We know restores work before you need one.
  • Team that knows your siteThe people responding already know how your site was built. Diagnostics don't start from zero.
  • Deploy & config documentationEvery setup and change is documented. You always know what's running and why.

What "7/24" actually means.
And what it doesn't.

We're direct about support scope because ambiguity creates problems. Here's exactly what's available when, and what goes where.

7/24 — Any time
  • Site is completely down The site returns errors, is unreachable, or serves a 5xx to all visitors. Mark subject [OUTAGE] — gets immediate attention.
  • Critical security incident Active malware, a compromised credential, or a live intrusion attempt. We respond, isolate, and document.
  • SSL expiry / HTTPS failure If a certificate unexpectedly breaks and causes a site-wide HTTPS error, it falls under 7/24 response.
Business hours — Best effort
  • WordPress updates & maintenance Core, plugin, and theme updates. Covered by Kernel Care — not included in Kernel Host alone.
  • Performance requests Speed optimisation, TTFB tuning, caching configuration changes. Scoped separately or via Kernel Boost.
  • New feature requests Content changes, new sections, or functionality additions are separate project scope — not hosting support.
  • General questions Non-urgent technical questions, configuration clarifications, and reporting are handled during business hours (UTC+3).

What's in, what's out.

Kernel Host is a focused product. Knowing what's not included helps you plan — and pair it with the right add-ons.

Stable hosting.
Same team, no surprises.

Get in touch and we'll confirm scope, resource requirements, and timeline. Onboarding takes one business day for most sites.
